Mitali Nikore, a New Delhi based economist, is a Development Consultant for the Indian Resident Mission of the Asian Development Bank and a short term Consultant to the World Bank. She also holds the position of Assistant Director at the School of Economics and Commerce, Adamas University. In addition, she is a Global Shaper with the New Delhi Hub of Global Shapers Community, an initiative of the World Economic Forum. She also manages and publishes on a regular blog titled "Irrational Economics" as a Columnist with Times of India, and is a regular economics commentator on India Ahead News. Focusing on infrastructure development, industries, MSMEs, and economic corridors, her work spans a wide range of sectors, both in South Asia and Africa, at the national and sub-national level. Mitali has led research inquires on infrastructure financing gaps, gender-based discrimination, framing policy, and programmatic and project-level interventions. She is also a widely published researcher and writer with the Times of India, World SME News, Indian Express, and EPC World.
Ms Mitali Nikore is now an advisor for the Steering Committee of BRICS CCI Young Leader. This program will hold numerous activities each year under the pillars of Youth Leadership, Global Research and Thought Leadership, and connect with students through its institutional network.
Manvika is currently a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer with UNICEF, New Delhi and holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from Shri Ram College of Commerce, New Delhi. She has prior experience with a UK-based general insurer as an actuarial consultant in using statistical models to evaluate reserve bookings. She also has experience as a behavioural economist focusing on solving management problems using behavioural economics. She wants to use economic principles and data analytics to lead research inquiries in the social and economic space.
Khyati, a public policy enthusiast, has been working in the Indian skill development and vocational education sector since the past two years. She holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from St. Stephen's College, New Delhi and a master’s degree in Public Policy from King's College, London. Previously, she has worked in the media advocacy space, handling pan India projects in sectors like Intellectual Property and Public Health. She is passionate about in - depth analysis of policy interventions with regards to gender equality and wishes to develop structured domain and entrepreneurial skill development modules for enhancement of the Indian female labour force participation.
Poorva is currently pursuing an MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science, London. She has obtained an undergraduate degree in Economics from St.Xavier's College, Mumbai. She has previously worked as an Analyst with a Gurgaon-based Management Consultancy firm. Her research interests include gender and labour-related studies as well as infrastructure development in developing countries. She wants to be involved in developing policies that are backed by rigorous economic research.
Ujjwala holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from Lady Shri Ram College For Women, Delhi University and is currently pursuing a masters in public policy from NLS, Bangalore. Her main interests lie at the intersection of the themes involved within gender, politics and economics which she hopes to actively dissect and research upon in the future.
Ashruth is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Economics from The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI). Prior to this, he pursued an undergraduate degree in Economics from St. Stephen's College, New Delhi. He was awarded a Research Fellowship in his final year of under-graduation, and undertook a study to examine the role of a financially included woman in her household's health outcomes. The findings of the study were presented to the Department of Economics at his college. Going forward, he is interested in exploring education and health-based issues and undertake research in these fields to inform policy decisions.
Vidhi holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from NMIMS University, Mumbai and is keen on working in the social development sector. She has experience in working with NGOs in the field of gender sensitization and skill development. She is pursuing a master’s in public policy from NLS, Bangalore and wishes to be involved in formulating policies on gender related issues and skill development.
Laboni is a Research Associate at Nikore Associates. She had 2+ years of transaction banking experience with Citi and will soon be joining the 2020 cohort of the Urban Fellowship at the Indian Institute of Human Settlements, Bangalore. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from St. Stephen's College, University of Delhi.
Chandni is the Editorial Team Lead at Nikore Associates. She is currently pursuing a BA in Economics, Political Science, and Sociology at St. Joseph's College, Bangalore. She also analyzes US politics for digital media houses based in North America, and runs a social justice collective called Sabudana Things. Her interests lie in intersectional feminism and gender equity.

Samarpita Banerjee is an economics graduate from St.Stephen's College, Delhi University, and is currently pursuing Master's degree in International Business Economics and Finance from Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics, Pune. Her research interests include gender-based issues and development economics.
Soumya is currently working with The Quantum Hub and holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from St. Stephen's College, New Delhi. She has prior consulting experience with ZS Associates, a US-based sales and marketing firm. She is a public policy candidate at Duke University and wishes to get involved in policy leadership and evidence-based policy-making.
