The Global Solutions Summit is the world’s premier forum for transforming research-based insights into policy recommendations for the G7, the G20, and beyond. Its goal is better global governance for the common good. This high-level meeting brings together senior government officials with top-level academic researchers, NGO leaders, and international CEOs. Held annually in Berlin, this year’s conference will take place in a hybrid format.

This year´s speakers include Olaf Scholz (German Chancellor), Amina J. Mohammed (Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations), Michael Kremer (Nobel Laureate), Mathias Cormann (Secretary-General of the OECD), Bambang Brodjonegoro (T20 Indonesia Lead Co-Chair), Stientje van Veldhoven (Vice President of the World Resources Institute), Frans Timmermans, (EU Vice-President of the Commission) and Izabella Teixeira (UNEP International Resource Panel).

The theme of the 2022 Global Solutions Summit is "Listen to the world: promoting social well-being within planetary boundaries." The Summit is a stepping-stone to this year's G20 and Think20 Summits in Indonesia as well as to the G7 and Think7 Summits in Germany. During the Global Solutions Summit, the Think20 and Think7 task forces will advance their thinking and develop their papers for these top events on the international calendar and discuss collective approaches to solving problems at the G20 and G7 levels with decision-makers.
