Mitali Nikore
Founder
Mitali Nikore is an economist and gender policy specialist. She is the founder of the youth-led research group Nikore Associates. She advises multilateral organisations such as ADB, UN Women and the World Bank as well as private sector consulting firms such as EY and PwC. She is a part of the Global Shapers New Delhi Hub (an initiative of the World Economic Forum). She is also an advisor to the Steering Committee of BRICS CCI Young Leaders. Focusing on infrastructure development, industries, MSMEs, economic corridors and gender mainstreaming, her work spans a wide range of sectors, both in South Asia and Africa, at the national and sub-national levels. She is also a widely published researcher and writer with The Times of India, World SME News, Indian Express, SheThePeople and EPC World. She has also been named one of the industry leaders to look out for in 2022
by Forbes magazine and has provided her expertise On-Air on multiple news segments on BBC News, NDTV, and India Ahead amongst others. Mitali holds a master's in economics from the London School of Economics, and a bachelor's in economics from the University of Delhi.

Shivani is currently working as a Social Media Manager with India's oldest political party and holds a Masters degree in Journalism and Mass Communication. Her strong vision and capability to lead a cause, led her to be one of the Young Leaders for Obama Foundation’s Townhall (India) in 2017 and Youth Delegate, India-China Youth Dialogue, Embassy of Republic of China in 2018. She has worked for Ms. Vasundhara Raje, Chief Minister of Rajasthan and with FleishmanHillard and Zeno Group. Her vision is to work for the world peace and develops her own space for discussions on the same.
Chandni Ganesh
Editorial Advisor
Chandni is the Editorial Team Lead at Nikore Associates. She is currently pursuing a BA in Economics, Political Science, and Sociology at St. Joseph's College, Bangalore. She also analyzes US politics for digital media houses based in North America and runs a social justice collective called Sabudana Things. Her interests lie in intersectional feminism and gender equity.

Priyal is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Economics from Symbiosis School of Economics (SSE) and holds an undergraduate degree in Economics, Mathematics, and Statistics from CHRIST (Deemed to be University). Areen Deshmukh is a Research Associate at Nikore Associates. Charmi Mehta is a Research Advisor at Nikore Associates and a Research Consultant at Finance Research Group, Mumbai. She holds undergraduate degrees in Economics and Law along with a Master's in Public Policy from the National Law School of India University, Bengaluru. Previously, she has worked with Asia Society India Centre, the Centre for Science and Environment and Vidhi Centre for Legal Policy. She was also a part of the NLSIU-Action Aid
team that drafted the Slum Development Bill for the Government of Karnataka in 2018-19. Her research interests lie at the intersection of public finance, climate policy and regulatory governance.

Manvika is currently a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer with UNICEF, New Delhi, and holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from Shri Ram College of Commerce, New Delhi. She has prior experience with a UK-based general insurer as an actuarial consultant in using statistical models to evaluate reserve bookings. She also has experience as a behavioral economist focusing on solving management problems using behavioral economics. Khyati, a public policy enthusiast, has been working in the Indian skill development and vocational education sector for the past two years. She holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from St. Stephen's College, New Delhi, and a master’s degree in Public Policy from King's College, London. Previously, she has worked in the media advocacy space, handling pan India projects in sectors like Intellectual Property and Public Health. She is passionate about an in-depth analysis of policy interventions with regards to gender equality and wishes to develop structured domain and entrepreneurial skill development modules for enhancement of the Indian female labor force participation.
Ashruth Talwar

Ashruth is currently pursuing a Masters's degree in Economics from The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI). Prior to this, he pursued an undergraduate degree in Economics from St. Stephen's College, New Delhi. He was awarded a Research Fellowship in his final year of under-graduation and undertook a study to examine the role of a financially included woman in her household's health outcomes. The findings of the study were presented to the Department of Economics at his college. Going forward, he is interested in exploring education and health-based issues and undertakes research in these fields to inform policy decisions.
